Jobs, and being a criminal, or not

The last couple of weeks I've been ringing round teaching agencies and sending out CVs which is always fun. So the responses have started to come back, and the thing I need right now is a CRB, a Criminal Records Bureau check, an enhanced one at that. Thats not rally a problem in and of itself, as I don't have a criminal record, but, it takes up to 6 weeks to get one and I can't just get one as an individual, I have to get it through the company I'm working for.....this seems a little strange. Quite why I can't apply for one myself and then show it to every employer I go to is somewhat frustrating, each agency I go to wants to enter their own application...no wonder it takes up to 6 weeks....
In other news, just got back from watching 'In Bruges' a darkly funny and violent movie you should go and see. To round things off in this post here's a photo of two sauce bottles having a good time.
